Zippo: the most reliable lighter on the planet
Yeah right. And pigs fly.
The zippo lighter is supposed to light and stay lit in any conditions, work as new for many years, give pleasure and company blah blah blah.
Yes, I'm indeed pissed off. The reason? Why, my newest zippo pipe lighter. Usually I use matches to light my pipe, but walking outside, in the embrace of nature, one is at mercy of its forces. Like wind. So I got me a shiny, new zippo. To be able to say "gotcha" to the wind.
Not bloody likely. I can't even get it to light indoors, let alone in the midst of fierce winds raging like banshees. No can do. Fill it up, you say? Checked that one - the lighter is full. Actually the lighter is in perfect (well, optimal; OK, OK, regular) condition, so I should light almost at my blinking at it.
So why in gods name doesn't it work? I'm frustrated! It happened a few times that I went out for a bowl and returned with a long face - no fire.
Argh. I just hate when everybody else seems to have stuff that works as it should, an only I wind up with a defective piece.
